📜 Terms & Conditions – Sunrise Packers and Movers

Welcome to Sunrise Packers and Movers. We kindly ask you to read the following terms and conditions carefully before using our services. By making a booking with us, you confirm and agree to the terms set out below.

1. Service Scope

We provide packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking of products according to the agreement. Our staff makes sure that products are handled securely, but due to unforeseen delays like traffic, weather, or natural calamities, these are not our responsibility. Clients are liable to declare fragile or valuable items individually to make suitable arrangements for their handling.

2. Booking & Payment Terms

To validate a booking, clients are required to give precise information about the things to be relocated. Advance payment is needed to confirm the booking, and full payment is required prior to final delivery. Payments can be made in cash, bank transfer, UPI, and other approved digital means. Any extra services utilized during transportation will be charged extra.

3. Pricing & Additional Costs

Our charges are calculated on the basis of distance, quantity of goods, labor, packing materials, and mode of transport. Additional charges can be levied for special handling, storage facilities, tolls, parking charges, or state taxes. If the customer asks for an extra service or postpones the process, additional charges will be levied accordingly.

4. Packing & Handling Policy

We utilize good-quality packing materials to ensure the safety of your items. Nonetheless, we do not account for damages due to poor customer packing, acts of nature, or other forces outside our control. Fragile and high-value items should be declared separately by the customers so that they are properly handled.

5. Transit & Delivery Conditions

Delivery time is estimated based on distance, traffic, and weather. Someone from the customer side or an authorized person has to be present at the destination to take delivery of the goods. Storage charges are applicable in case no one is available to accept the delivery.

6. Insurance Policy

We offer voluntary transit insurance to shield cargo from unexpected damages. Insurance needs to be requested by customers at the time of booking. For damages, direct claims need to be lodged with the insurance company, as we do not process insurance claims. The insurance excludes minor scratches, wear & tear, as well as damages caused by natural calamities.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers are not allowed to carry specific items, including:

❌ Hazardous, explosive, or flammable materials

❌ Illegal substances or items prohibited by the law

❌ Perishable items like food or plants that are still alive

❌ Jewellery, cash, confidential papers, or valuable goods (these have to be brought personally)

Any item prohibited by the rules if discovered during transportation can lead to service cancellation without refund.

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Customers can have their bookings cancelled under the below-stated terms:

-Cancellations that take place 48 hours prior to the move are likely to fetch a partial refund.

-Cancellations up to 24 hours before the move date will be non-refundable.

-Rescheduling is at the discretion of the manager and subject to charges.

-Refunds, wherever applicable, will be made in 7-10 working days.

9. Liability & Dispute Resolution

While we provide safe transportation, we are not responsible for traffic, weather, strikes, or accident-related delays. In the event of a dispute, we propose that it be resolved amicably, and if unresolved, legal issues will be addressed under the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts.

10. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth relocation process, customers must:

✔️ Have all your things packed and labeled correctly before moving.

✔️ Be present at pickup and delivery points or appoint a representative.

✔️ Stipulate fragile, precious, or prohibited items prior to shipping.

✔️ Give correct address and contact information to prevent delivery problems.
